Privacy notice
This notice is a working draft for the early test of Fourfold. Text in [square brackets] still needs to be filled in.
Who we are
Fourfold is a trading name of FlexVoyage Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 13433541, registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. FlexVoyage Ltd is the data controller for the information you give us. Contact us at hello@wearefourfold.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into our sign-up form: your first name, email, age range, where you live, height, build, sizes, fit notes, colouring, colour likes and dislikes, whether you run hot or cold, how formal your work is, how often you travel, your budget, the clothes you own and brands you like. We don't ask for photos, payment details or your full address.
Why we use it
| Purpose | Legal basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Build your capsule and email it to you | Your consent, given when you tick the box on the form |
| Send one follow-up email asking how the capsule worked for you | Our legitimate interest in improving the service; you can opt out by replying |
| Answer your questions | Legitimate interest |
We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with the brands we recommend.
Who handles it for us
| Service | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Formspree | Receives the sign-up form and emails it to us | United States |
| Google (Gmail) | Our email inbox, where your answers arrive and capsules are sent from | United States and EU |
| Cloudflare | Hosts this website and forwards email to our inbox | Global |
| Skimlinks | Tracks clicks on product links so retailers can pay us commission | UK and United States |
| Anthropic (Claude) | AI assistant we use to help draft your capsule; a person checks every capsule before it's sent | United States |
Where your information goes outside the UK, we rely on these providers' standard data transfer safeguards. [Confirm each provider's UK transfer mechanism before launch.]
Product links
Some links in your capsule go to brands' own websites and may earn us a small commission if you buy. When you click one, that brand's own privacy policy applies to what happens on their site.
Cookies
We use Skimlinks to turn some product links into affiliate links. When you click a product link, Skimlinks and the retailer may set cookies so the retailer knows the visit came from Fourfold and can pay us a commission. We don't use advertising cookies of our own. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. Cloudflare may process basic technical data (like your IP address) to keep the site secure. Skimlinks only loads if you click Accept on our cookie banner. See our cookie policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your answers and capsule for 12 months after we last hear from you, then delete them. Ask us and we'll delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, at any time by emailing hello@wearefourfold.com. We'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
